Our commercial practice is deep and varied. It encompasses advocacy and advisory work across a wide range of commercial areas at both trial and appellate level.
Our members have a deep familiarity with the essential provisions of key statutes such as the Corporations Act 2001 and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. This includes extensive experience and knowledge of the law in some of the more specialist areas of commercial law.
Much of the civil litigation in New South Wales is practised in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court (general and commercial list). These cases require a firm grounding in the principles of equity. All members have this grounding and apply their knowledge and experience across the full range of commercial disputes throughout all Australian courts and tribunals.
We conduct regular seminars internally to ensure our members are aware of the latest developments in commercial law and practice.
