Anais has a broad commercial litigation practice, and regularly appears in all NSW courts, the Federal Court, various regulatory bodies, and NSW Tribunals.

Anais has expertise in the following areas:

General commercial disputes, particularly equity, trusts, and property matters. For example, disputes relating to managed investment schemes, join ventures, share sale agreements, real property, misleading conduct, and partnership/employment disputes.

Competition law, where Anais has advised and acted in respect of various litigious matters, merger approvals, (including the decision of the Australian Competition Tribunal in Sea Swift) and regulatory investigations (such as s155 examinations).

Corporations and insolvency, matters arising under the Corporations Act and Bankruptcy Act, including winding up applications, statutory demands, and regulatory investigations.

Sports law, including commercial disputes on behalf of sporting clubs as well as appearing before various sporting tribunals in respect of doping and other disciplinary matters. Anais is also a substitute member of the FIVB Tribunal.

Building and construction disputes, including various types of private arbitration.

Anais' pro-bono practice includes matters relating to immigration, retail tenancies, bankruptcy, police powers, and criminal law.

Prior to commencing at the Bar in 2012, Anais was a solicitor in Sydney (Mallesons Stephen Jacques) and London (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP).
