Competition Law and Trade Practices
There has been significant growth in proceedings brought under Part IV of the Trade Practices Act in the Federal Court, as well as challenges to decisions of the ACCC or other regulators in the Australian Competition Tribunal under the Trade Practices Act, National Gas Code or National Electricity Code. The chambers include barristers who are specialists in competition law and have been involved in the leading cases in this area in recent years. Quite a number of members have particular experience in this area.
