Andrew Coleman SC appointed Chair of the National Rugby League Player Agents Accreditation Board
Andrew Coleman SC has been appointed as Chair of the National Rugby League Player Agents Accreditation Board. The Board is comprised of representatives from the National Rugby League (NRL), Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) and agents to oversee and administer the NRL Accredited Agents Scheme for player agents in rugby league. The scheme's purpose includes recognising the important role of player agents in the game, providing criteria for accreditation as a player agent and promoting a strong culture of professionalism, integrity, and accountability amongst player agents.
Andrew Coleman is a senior member of Banco Chambers, having been called to the Bar in 1996 and appointed Silk in 2010. He specialises principally in commercial law and has extensive experience in sports law. He is also a Senior Member of the Appeal Panel, Occupational, and Consumer and Commercial Divisions of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) and is a Major in the Australian Army Legal Corps (Res).
