Clarissa Amato to appear as panellist at the Law Council of Australia discussion on media freedom
On 15 November 2019 the Law Council of Australia will be holding its 2019 Media and Communications Seminar.The half day seminar will focus on the challenges posed by ongoing regulatory changes to the media and communications landscape and a keynote address will be delivered by the Chairperson of the ACCC, Rod Sims.
The seminar will also include a panel discussion titled Media Freedoms, Striking a Balance. Clarissa Amato, one of Banco Chambers' barristers with specialist experience in media and commercial law matters, will be a panellist in the session. Her expertise in the area is well known - she has appeared in numerous cases in the area and is listed as a recommended junior counsel for media law matters in the Doyles Guide to the Legal Profession.
Clarissa's fellow panellists will include an experienced academic and a media industry solicitor.
