Banco Chambers features in Whos Who Legal 2022 Guide to Australian Profession

The recently published 2022 Australian edition of the WhosWho guide to the legal profession has highlighted the depth and diversity of sought after legal expertise at Banco Chambers.

The competition section included six Banco barristers. The guide commentary noted Cameron Moore SC as "'a leader of the competition law bar in Australia' thanks to his notable experience in some of the country's most high profile cases." Ruth Higgins SC was praised for her "extremely sharp intellect combined with astute strategic skills in litigation". Peter Brereton SC rounded out the Banco silks featured in the guide. On the junior counsel front Declan RochePeter Strickland and Robert Yezerski were also all featured with Robert being described as "very strong on his feet" with "excellent knowledge of competition law."

Arbitration was also another area of noted strength for Banco. Justin Gleeson SC, who accepts appointments in international and domestic arbitrations, was acknowledged as an "exceptional strategist." Jonathon Redwood SC was also highlighted as "a leading name in the Australian Market thanks to his notable experience working on high value disputes, both domestically and internationally." Tim Breakspear SC was also listed, and is also featured as a leading construction law silk.

The balance of listings showcased the broad diversity of legal expertise at Banco Chambers. John Sheahan KC was featured as "most highly regarded" practitioner in commercial litigation was also featuring in the restructuring and insolvency categories. Robert Dick SC was listed for restructuring and insolvency, Kristen Deards SC was listed for corporate tax law and James Emmett SC was listed for transport and shipping matters.
