Clarissa Amato and Tom Blackburn SC featured in Doyles Guide

Banco Chambers congratulates Clarissa Amato and Tom Blackburn SC who were featured as leading and recommended counsel respectively in the 2023 Doyles Guide to leading Technology, Media and Telecommunications barristers in NSW.

Clarissa and Tom continue to appear in some of the most high profile and significant media litigation in Australia. Most recently, Clarissa was briefed to appear for Crikey Media in now discontinued Federal Court defamation proceedings brought against it by the well known media and business figure Lachlan Murdoch. Tom Blackburn continues to divide his time between Australia and London, where he also practises from 5RB Chambers. In Australia, he continues to advise and appear, including most recently for publisher HarperCollins and journalist Steve Cannane, in current defamation proceedings before the Federal Court of Australia.
