Banco Chambers congratulates Richard McHugh SC on his appointment as a Judge of the NSW Court of Appeal today. He will be sworn in on 20 August.
Richard was called to the Bar in 1995 and appointed Senior Counsel in 2006. He was a founding member of Banco Chambers when it was established in 2005.
At the Bar he conducted many significant first instance and appellate cases across a wide range of areas. We wish Richard well for this next chapter in his career.
