Banco Chambers is please to welcome our newest readers, Jake Bailey and Penelope Bristow.
Jake joins Banco from Ashurst, where he was a Senior Associate. He is also a former tipstaff of Justice Darke in the Supreme Court of NSW. Jake accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a particular focus on commercial litigation, including contract disputes, breach of directors’ duties, insolvency, insurance and class actions.
Penelope (Nell) joins Banco following a year as Counsel Assisting the Commonwealth Solicitor General. She was also an Associate to Justice Edelman in the High Court of Australia, and an Associate to Justice Derrington in the Federal Court. Her practice experience also includes stints at the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office and at Herbert Smith Freehills. Nell accepts briefs in all areas of law with experience in commercial law, public law and common law.
