Erin accepts briefs to advise and appear in all areas of law but specialises in competition law, regulatory proceedings and investigations, and administrative law.
Prior to coming to the Bar Erin practised as a solicitor at Gilbert + Tobin in the Competition and regulation practice group where she advised large publicly listed corporations on s45 cases, regulatory matters and significant transactions. Erin’s time at Gilbert + Tobin also encompassed leave periods to undertake roles at the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office (working in the Torts (Justice) group) and a Human Rights Fellowship at Legal Aid.
Erin’s extensive but diverse experience also includes a career in communications and policy before transitioning to legal practice where she undertook various research roles in the public international law space (including at the UN and the Australian Human Rights Centre) and as a public relations and policy advisor for trade and international development in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
