Jake accepts briefs in all areas of law. He has experience in a variety of commercial disputes.
Before coming to the Bar, Jake was a Senior Associate at Ashurst. He acted in contractual disputes, claims for breaches of directors’ duties, insolvency disputes, insurance claims, product liability class actions, and administrative law disputes. In 2018 he was the Tipstaff to the Hon Justice Darke in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of NSW.
Doyle’s Guide listed Jake as a rising star in Commercial Litigation & Insolvency Law in 2024.
Jake holds a Master of Laws (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) from the University of Technology Sydney.
