
Madeline is an experienced advocate and practices widely, including advising and acting in high value commercial disputes and appearing unled in both trial and appellate Courts. She practices in complex commercial litigation, company law, contractual disputes, financial services, regulatory, insolvency, representative proceedings, media law and insurance.
Madeline has acted and advised listed companies, high-profile individuals, banking institutions, politicians/political parties and top national and international law firms. She has appeared in multiple proceedings spanning jurisdictions, with parallel proceedings in the United States and Federal Court of Australia.
Madeline also acts in professional negligence cases and disciplinary proceedings, appearing in trials and appeals both for and against accountants, doctors, lawyers and other professionals.
Prior to coming to the Bar, from 2014 – 2015 Madeline was the Tipstaff and Research Director to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Honourable Thomas Bathurst AC.
