Penelope accepts briefs in all areas of law.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Penelope was Associate to the Hon Justice Edelman AC of the High Court of Australia, Associate to the Hon Justice Derrington of the Federal Court and Counsel Assisting the Commonwealth Solicitor-General, Dr Donaghue KC. She also worked as a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills and the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office.
Penelope holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) from the University of Queensland. She also completed the Bachelor of Civil Law (Dist) at the University of Oxford. Throughout her studies, she received a number of academic prizes.
