Peter is a barrister with expertise in competition & consumer law (including criminal cartel prosecutions), class actions, general commercial, corporations, public & administrative law, regulatory proceedings and equity.
In particular, Peter has over a decade of experience in competition & consumer law proceedings, and was ranked in the 2023 Doyle’s Guide for Leading Competition Law Junior Counsel – Australia. He is also currently briefed for defendants in two criminal prosecutions for alleged cartel conduct.
Before coming to the Bar, Peter was a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills, where he acted in numerous major competition law and regulatory disputes and investigations.
In 2004, Peter was the Associate to Justice DG Hill of the Federal Court of Australia.
Peter has a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) with first class honours and the university medal, and a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from the University of Sydney.
