Ryan is an experienced commercial junior who accepts unled and led briefs in commercial, insolvency and corporations disputes, as well as in representative proceedings and family law property matters.
Whilst Ryan practices widely in all areas of commercial law, he specialises in insolvency and company law. He is regularly briefed in complex shareholder disputes (including claims for breach of directors’ duties), as well as in proceedings concerning large external administrations where he represents insolvency practitioners, creditors and other interested parties. He also accepts briefs to appear in relation to schemes of arrangement.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Ryan was a solicitor at Allens in the Disputes and Investigations Department and the Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Black of the Supreme Court of NSW.
