In 2023 Sebastian Hartford-Davis and Zoe Bush authored a legal opinion on nature-related risks and directors’ duties. This opinion highlighted how Australia’s economy is broadly exposed to nature-related risks. Since then, there has been a range of significant international developments to support corporate disclosure and management of nature-related risks.
The Panel will be moderated by Anna Skarbek, CEO of Climateworks. The other Panellists are Laura Bacon, Policy Adviser at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Mark Beaufoy, Partner at King & Wood Mallesons.
