Disputes arising from property and related transactions are commonly briefed to Banco Chambers in which the barristers’ expertise in commercial law, contract law, equity and trusts are frequently called upon.
Banco barristers have advised and appeared in cases concerning applications for specific performance or injunctions of land transactions; property disputes involving allegations of fraud or breach of trust; applications in respect of caveats and easements; priority disputes between interest holders; and leasing disputes including in relation to lease terminations, advice on breach, and in expert determinations (both as counsel and as expert determiner).
